Cheese Biscuits
Method
- Make up the flour and marg to fine breadcrumbs
- Put in the seasoning then the cheese
- Add the beaten eggs and mix adding the water gradually to make a very soft dough
- Roll out pastry to about 1/4 inch thick, cut in to circle shapes ( or other shapes)
- Salt and pepper to taste if you want
- A good pinch of grated cheese and then bake of 15-20 minutes at about 170-180 or use your discretion according to how well done you like them.
Ingredients
- 450g self raising flour
- 225 margarine
- 350g strong cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tsps colmans dry mustard
- 2 eggs
- water enough to make the dough soft
