In a heavy based saute pan cook mince until nice and brown. Remove and store
Add some Olive oil if necessary and cook garlic for a minute. Do not burn as it will not taste nice
Add the onions to the pan and cook until transparent. Remove and store
Add mince pan and add tomatoes, red or green peppers, chilli peppers, HP sauce, Worcester sauce, oxo cubes, red wine, Kidney Beans. ( Well add everything)
Bring to a boil then turn to simmer for 3 or 4 hours more if you like
Keep stirring and tasting every now and then until you get to a taste you like. The longer you cook it the nicer it is.
Capsicums & Chilli Peppers
Ingredients
1 small joint of beef (you mince)
1 large Onion (chopped)
1 clove of Garlic
1 can of Kidney Beans
1 - 2 red or green Peppers chopped
2 or 3 red of green Chilli-Peppers
a good shake of HP sauce (English Sauce)
a good shake of Worcester Sauce (Lea and Perrins of course)
4 or 6 oxo cubes
1/2 cup red wine
2 tins tomatoes
HP Sauce
Serve with
Organic Wild Rice, grated cheese, garlic bread and a good bottle of red wine.
