A la la Pasta Neasy Style
We decided to try new food this year and with the gift of a Pasta maker from Beany and Simon our new adventure into Italian food has begun.
Method
- Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry
- Cook onions and garlic. Put these aside for the moment in the frying pan
- In a saucepan heat the butter and oil
- Add the liquidised tomatoes and bring to the boil
- Reduce the heat and simmer for about 40 minutes or until the sauce is reduced by about half
- Stir in the basil and parsley
- Transfer to your frying pan and mix together with the bacon onion and garlic
- Set aside whilst you make the pasta
- Once the pasta is cooked combine the pasta and sauce and serve with a generous helping of parmesan Cheese
