Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C
  2. Put the icing sugar, plain flour and cornflour into the bowl of a food processor fitted with the double-bladed knife and give them a quick blitz add the butter along with the vanilla seeds you've scraped out of a pod.
  3. Blitz again until the soft mixture mixes & begins to form a ball.
  4. I split the mixture up into smaller balls, cover them with sugar & pop them into the oven & bake for about 20-25 minutes, they should be pale, but not doughy.
  5. Once out of the oven let cool for 10 minutes
