For this I use mysqldump and backup the entire folder

Overriding Skin

I use vector as my skin.

You can amend css <Wiki URL>/MediaWiki:Vector.css

You can amend js <Wiki URL>/MediaWiki:Vector.js

This is how I get the copy button to work
